Tempered glass + HST
HST it is a process that is carried out, upon customer request, after the tempering process, the glass is heated to about 300° C for a period ranging from 8 to 12 hours, depending on the case. This procedure causes the variation of the crystalline structure of nickel sulfide inside the glass and is used to accelerate the breaking of the temperate volumes which would spontaneously break over time. This test allows to eliminate 99% of the glass sheet that would break in operation due to mechanical and thermal stresses.
